Trip to the tip! 2010

Couldnt get any better than this...

We all went on a cruise with Bev,Wayne, Scotty, Tyson and Kellie on our last day in Cairns. Couldnt ask for better weather it was grouse. Everyone loved it. we saw heaps of fish and even a turtle swimming beside the boat. Fantastic!!! On the way back they turned the motors off and we sailed back to Cairns. We want to do the whitsundays now, just grouse.

Kuranda Village

We went up to Kuranda for the day and we saw lots of things.... Birdworld was ace.... not sure on the snakes but Jordan wants one as a pet. He has changed his mind though cause the guy told him when they get big they will eat a cat. phew...

Thats a red tailed Cockatoo on my shoulder. It was so cool to handled one of them but god can they make a sound. Heaps louder than the yellow crested Cockatoos.

Cairns

Our Caravan Park at Cairns

At Cairns we stayed at the Big 4 Caravan Park Coconut palms. It would be the nicest park we have ever stayed at so far it was beautiful, just like a resort. Jord had a ball with all the things to do especially the water park he loved it. oohh and josh had a little go but he was too cool for that...lol They had a bucket and when it got full, 1200 ltrs would spill over the kids.

The Daintree river

Daintree River was heaps bigger than I thought it would be it goes for miles. Scotty and Will were told that there are that many Crocs in there that no one has ever made it across the river alive. You would never survive..

Our Croc Cruise

While we visited Cape Trib, we went on a Crocodile Cruise on the Cooper river. It was so cool watching them up close. It was raining while we were there so. We will just have to come back and do it all again. Cape Trib looked so nice in the rain even though we were soaked.

Wonga beach was really nice. We got to catch up with Bev and Wayne again. The weather wasnt too bad but it did rain while we were there. In the photo Jordy is standing beside the worlds biggest fruit. I am sure he will tell you all about it when we get home. We tried all sorts of exotic fruit and they were yummy. Brucey you would have loved it all with Icecream too....
