Cooktown
I was surprised with Cooktown it was bigger than what I had imagined, it was a nice little town with heaps of old buildings still in good nic. Lots of old pubs, and a lot of history with Capt. James Cook not much of a wharf though it was tiny. It was very windy when we were there but the weather was ok it didnt rain. Heaps of beautiful flowers that we dont have in Melbourne.

Main Street, Cooktown

Lighthouse at Cooktown
The Lighthouse had awesome view, well worth the walk up the big hill, josh thought he could ease the pain in going sideways up the hill. The view was 360 degs of Cooktown. I was glad to leave Cooktown after we saw the python I had gone passed that only a few minutes before Craig and Rod and I didnt see it. I think I need to buy a better torch.....I didnt sleep very well that night. lol
